This is a small website to document my fitness journey and what I have found as best practices for a life of moving and less pain, particularly for beginners.
I am Greg, an active duty US Army Officer. I have gone through multiple stages in my fitness journey from PeeWee football, to middle school track and field and football. I moved onto high school track and field eventually becoming a captain and in charge of some of our workouts, and simultaneously a high school football player. I graduated high school in June of 2015 and joined the US Army via the United States Military Academy Preparatory School (USMAPS), where I was introduced to Army fitness and longer endurance fitness. I entered West Point in 2016 and experienced the change from supermaxing the Army Physical Fitness Test to getting in the 560s + of 600 of the Army Combat Fitness Test. I have constantly pushed myself and have experienced different levels of ability and I want my experiences to help improve anyone else’s current struggles if even a little bit. So I hope we can continue on our fitness journey together, you and I, sharing what works best and what doesn’t and we can both achieve our goals.
